Does the Town have a scheduled garbage pick-up?

No. Some residents chose to contract with private waste haulers to have their garbage and recyclable waste removed from their property. Most Town residents use the municipal recycling center at the Town Hall, 3762 Lakeland Road. The recycling center is open to all Town residents on Saturday mornings from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The center accepts plastic, paper, cardboard, glass and metals free of charge. Residents are charged $1 for each regular sized bag of household garbage. There is a container for larger metal items outside the recycling center where residents can leave barbeque grills, old lawn mowers and other unwanted household metals to be scrapped. It is not legal to leave brush, Christmas trees, or other lawn waste at the site. Residents are encouraged to compost lawn waste on their property. Clean, dry, wood may be carefully burned.

Arrow Disposal operates the Town of Saukville Recycling Center. Contact Arrow with questions about what materials are accepted at the center. The Arrow Disposal telephone number is
262-284-1166.
